One-day and Half-day Trail Rides

Ride for a few hours, or all day. We'll provide everything you need, including lunch. Trips can be on or off-trail, depending on your preference and skill level. More info.

Pack Trips

Looking for a wilder time? Spend a few days exploring the back country on horseback. We offer two types of pack trips: light and fast with everyone carrying their own small backpack, or a traditional trip with extra horses or mules to haul the supplies. Either way, we'll take care of all the food and gear. More info.

Interpretive Rides

Sign up for a half-day or full-day interpretive nature ride. Guffey is host to some amazing geology, with ancient granite intersecting recent volcanism, all modified by Pleistocene flooding. On this trip you'll be accompanied by a professional scientist who can explain what you see around you, show you something of the area's mineral and mining history, and even talk about the local wildflowers. Whether your riding style needs a little tuning up, or your horse could use some work, Justin's gentle training style will prove invaluable. More info.
